Biography

Dr. Mona Amin Mohamed Elmelege earned her MBBCh from Alexandria University’s Faculty of Medicine in 1999. In 2004, she obtained a Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the same university. In 2017, she earned a Postgraduate Diploma in IVF and Reproductive Medicine from institutions in Germany and the UAE. She is currently pursuing her MRCOG (Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology) qualification.

Dr. Mona began her career in 2000 as a House Officer at the University Hospital of Alexandria and later as an Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at the same hospital. She qualified as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2004 and subsequently worked in various tertiary hospitals in Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In 2016, she relocated to the United Arab Emirates and continued her practice in Abu Dhabi’s large private hospitals.

With 21 years of experience, Dr. Mona has expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies, providing antenatal and postnatal care, handling preterm deliveries and miscarriages, diagnosing and treating infertility, and performing assisted reproductive techniques. She is skilled in managing all gynecological problems, performing various obstetric and gynecological surgeries, conducting minimally invasive procedures, and offering contraception and family planning services. Dr. Mona has extensive experience working with patients of various nationalities and is fluent in both Arabic and English.
