Biography

Dr. Harpreet Singh, a surgical neurologist trained at India’s premier institute, PGIMER, Chandigarh, possesses over 20 years of experience in diagnosing and treating neurosurgical patients since 2003. Independently performing brain and spine operations, his extensive expertise includes the treatment of head and spine injuries, brain and spine tumors, brain hemorrhage, hydrocephalus, trigeminal neuralgia, and disc disease.

Dr. Harpreet Singh is well-versed in the technique of fixation of unstable lumbar and dorsal spine with pedicle screws, disc replacement for degenerative cervical disc disease, and fixation of the cervical spine via both anterior and posterior routes. Additionally, he has successfully conducted procedures such as endoscopic third ventriculostomy, endoscopic removal of brain hemorrhage using a tubular retractor, stereotactic brain biopsy, and stereotactic brain abscess drainage.

His proficiency extends to performing transsphenoidal removal of pituitary tumors using both operative microscope and endoscope. Dr. Harpreet Singh has also undertaken pediatric neurosurgical operations, including the excision of myelomeningocele, foramen magnum decompression for Arnold Chiari malformation, and release of the tethered cord.
