Biography

Dr. Osama is a highly skilled Radiologist with 22 years of experience, specializing in functional MRI/CT imaging in the department of General Radiology. He holds esteemed qualifications, including a Fellowship from the Royal College of Radiologists in the UK, a certification from the European Board in Radiology in Spain, a Master’s Degree in Radiology, and MBBS from Ain-Shams University in Egypt.

Dr. Osama began his career path in Egypt, working in MOH hospitals and training at Ain Shams University Hospital. His time spent there allowed him to establish a solid foundation in radiology under the mentorship of experienced consultants and professors. Upon completion of his Master’s Degree, he upgraded to a Radiology Senior Consultant at the Egyptian Medical Syndicate.

Between 2007 and 2018, he worked as a Radiology Specialist in Saudi Arabia. His expertise shined through his work in both MOH and private hospitals, including the King Fahd Hospital, Maternity and Children Hospital, and Azzayed Specialized Hospital.

In 2018, Dr. Osama relocated to the United Arab Emirates, where he joined the AL-Fujairah Hospital, a tertiary care center. The Radiology department in this hospital houses cutting-edge facilities, such as a 1.5 Tesla MRI, Helical CT, Digital Mammography, Bone Densitometry, Nuclear Medicine, Fluoroscopic Unit, five conventional x-ray rooms, and an Ultrasound Unit with three cutting-edge machines. During this time, he also collaborated with well-experienced gastroenterologists at the specialized endoscopic GIT center in Abu Dhabi (ACDS).

Dr. Osama’s expertise spans across functional imaging radiology, including MR defecography, CT coronary angiography, and MR Enterography. His advanced skills include all imaging modalities, like conventional radiography, mammography, and ultrasonography.

Apart from his notable clinical work, Dr. Osama actively delivers radiology lectures, courses, and concise presentations on topics extending from MRI learning to traumatic and atraumatic emergencies in radiology. He shares his knowledge through live seminars and his YouTube channel, “Easy & Different Radiology”.
