Biography

With over 12 years of experience in neurosurgery, Dr. Lukman Ibrahim is a highly skilled and compassionate medical professional dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients with neurological disorders. Having worked at several leading hospitals and specialized centers, Dr. Lukman is known for employing advanced neurosurgical techniques while maintaining a personalized, patient-centered approach to care. Dr. Lukman earned his medical degree (MBBS) in 2003 from Government Medical College, Miraj, Maharashtra, and completed his one-year internship there in 2004. He pursued his Master’s degree in Neurosurgery (D.N.B.) in 2013 at Medical Trust Hospital, Ernakulam, Kerala, India. He has also passed the Part 1 Examination of the Fellowship of the European Board of Neurosurgery (FEBNS) in 2016, held in Berlin, Germany. After completing his training, Dr. Lukman served as a Staff Neurosurgeon at MIMS Hospital, Calicut, for four years. Since 2017, he has been practicing as a Specialist Neurosurgeon at Al Qassimi Hospital, Sharjah, a tertiary government hospital. Throughout his career, Dr. Lukman has performed numerous neurosurgical procedures, covering emergency and elective cases in neuro-trauma, neuro-oncology, neurovascular surgery, and spinal surgery. Dr. Lukman is proficient in utilizing advanced surgical technologies such as neuro-navigation and microscopes to ensure precision in procedures.
