Biography

After completing her master’s from one of the oldest medical schools in India, Grant Medical College, Mumbai, she worked with Dr. Milind Kirtane at Hinduja Hospital and later as a Full Time ENT surgeon at Advance Medical Care Hospital, Trichy. She started her private practice in Pune as a self-owned Day Surgery Centre and ran it for a period of 20 years.
During this period, she performed various routine surgeries, like Tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, myringotomy, tympanoplasty with or without mastoid surgery, Endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty, Turbinate reduction surgery, etc. She carried out major surgeries like Thyroidectomy, Head and neck cancer surgeries at Poona Hospital and Research Centre, where she was a visiting ENT surgeon. To advance her knowledge during this phase she went to Gloucestershire, UK for observership under Prof Kate Evans to learn the intricacies of Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. After a few years, she attended a course in Ear Microsurgery at the prestigious House Ear Institute in Los Angeles.
In 2018 she decided to extend her services in Mumbai and established a second clinic there which she ran for four years. She shifted to Dubai in 2022, due to her family commitments. She worked at DOCIB Clinic for a little less than two years. She carried out her surgical work at Aster Hospital, Al Qusais and also at Medstar Surgery Center at Oud Metha. She believes that establishing a good rapport with her patients is vitally important to understand and treat their problem effectively. She wishes to extend her expertise to her patients to achieve a healthy life.
