Dr. Owais Ali Qasim Ali is a highly skilled Specialist Ophthalmologist and Vitreo-Retina Surgeon with over a decade of experience in comprehensive eye care and advanced retinal surgery. Trained at some of the most prestigious ophthalmic institutions in India and with international exposure in Singapore, he brings a strong blend of clinical expertise, surgical precision, and patient-centered care. He completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College, Mumbai, followed by a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Ophthalmology. He further pursued a prestigious Fellowship in Vitreo-Retina at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, where he gained extensive hands-on experience in managing complex retinal disorders and performing advanced microsurgical procedures. Dr. Owais specializes in vitreo-retinal surgeries, including pars plana vitrectomy (20G–27G), retinal detachment repair, macular hole surgery, and diabetic retinopathy management. His expertise also extends to laser procedures such as PRP and focal laser, intravitreal injections (anti-VEGF agents and steroids), and advanced retinal imaging interpretation, including OCT, FFA, ICG, and ultrasonography.
