Biography

Dr. Jaswant Ahuja is a highly skilled physician with formal training in Clinical Radiology and Imaging, bringing over a decade of experience across a wide range of imaging modalities in the UAE. He earned his medical degree and MD in Radiodiagnosis from B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. Dr. Ahuja’s professional journey includes serving as a team leader at a prestigious diagnostic center in Delhi and further refining his expertise as a Consultant Radiologist at Apollo Indraprastha Hospital in Delhi. In his previous role as the Head of the Radiology Department at Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Ahuja was instrumental in setting up the department and optimizing its workflow. His areas of special interest include Emergency Radiology Imaging, cross-sectional evaluation of sports injuries, and diagnostic vascular imaging. Dr. Ahuja collaborates closely with surgeons and orthopedic specialists, using cross-sectional imaging to guide surgical planning and provide detailed insights into imaging findings for a better understanding of various conditions. In recognition of his contributions to the field, he was honored with the Best Radiologist Award at Medeor Hospital in Dubai in 2019.
